Christ for the Nations Institute - Native America Southwest

The story goes like this: Jimmy and I were out late in the evening ministering to a family way out on the Navajo reservation. Jimmy ministered to a young man that had become involved in drug addiction. In a separate room, I ministered God’s love to his wife and children. On the same night, while all that was occurring, we received a phone call of another crisis situation miles away on the Navajo reservation. We prayed and gave guidance, but our physical presence was not available for both situations. There were more needs than we could address and it was heartbreaking!

If you get to know us, you will find that we are problem solvers. When we see a need, if we are able, we will do what it takes to make certain it is met. This seemed beyond our abilities, though. We prayed. The Lord revealed to Jimmy that we were to train other Native American men and women to lead and to minister God’s love on the reservations. Out of us seeking a solution to our inability to personally reach everyone with the gospel and to minister one-on-one in so many different locations, Christ for the Nations Institute - Native America Southwest was birthed.

We are currently hosting both on-site and on-line classes reaching 3 states and 4 Native American tribes! We are greatly encouraged by students responses to just learning more of the Bible. We are already seeing their desire to reach out in God’s love to those around them!
